Mrs. Mary Miller Shearer, 82, of RD 1, Stahlstown died in the Latrobe Area
Hospital on Friday, Oct. 15, 1971, following an auto accident at New Alexandria.
She was born Nov. 10, 1888 in Donegal Township. Mrs. Shearer was a member of St.
Boniface Catholic Church. Surviving is a son, Leo Jr., of RD 1, Stahlstown, a
daughter, Thelma Shearer of RD 1, New Alexandria, eight grandchildren and one
great-grandchild. Funeral mass was held in St. Boniface Catholic Church Monday,
the Rev. John Erickson in charge. Interment was in St. Vincent Cemetery. The L.
Boyd Snyder Funeral Home, Stahlstown was in charge of funeral arrangements.
