Latrobe Bulletin (Latrobe, Pennsylvania) 30 Dec 1965
Michael A. Sherback, 59, of 818 Forest Ave., Latrobe, died at 3:30 am today at
Latrobe Hospital. Born Sept. 3, 1906, in Latrobe. Survived by wife, Mrs. Nellie S.
Panik Sherback, mother, Mrs. Anna Punci Sherback of Latrobe; following children:
Richard W., Donald J., Michael Jr., Mrs. Donald (Theresa) Seminsky, Mrs. John
(Marion) Hunter, Mrs. Samuel (Bernadette) Irwin, all of Latrobe; Patrick Michael of
New Derry; Charles, at home. Mrs. Fred (Margaret) Underdorfer of Derry, Mrs. John D.
(Dorothy) Myer of Doylestown, Pa., Mrs. James (Catherine) Joiner of Blairsville, one
brother, George Scherbak of Latrobe. Also four sisters, Mrs. Ray (Anna) Noel, Mrs.
Louis ( Margaret) Carota, Mrs. Veronica Sarnese, all of Latrobe; Mrs. Peter (Helen)
Gasdak of Derry RD 1; 20 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Last employed by
McFeely Brick for 36 years. Family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 at
John J. Lopatich Funeral Home with services at 2 pm Saturday at St John's Church.
Interment St. Mary's Cemetery. Funeral mass will be held at 8 am Monday at St.
John's. (Obit: 12/30/1965)
