Latrobe Bulletin (Latrobe, Pennsylvania) 21 Jan 1947
Michael A. Sherback died suddenly at his home, 30 Washington St., at 3 pm yesterday
of a heart attack at the age of 66 years. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Anna
Sherback and the following children: Mrs. Julia Petrosky, of Latrobe; George
Sherback, of Latrobe; Michael Sherback, of Derry; Mrs. Anna Noel, of Latrobe;
William Sherback, of Westmoreland City; Mrs. Margaret Carota, of Latrobe; Mrs. Mary
Milo, of Lloydsville; Mrs. Helen Gasdek, of Loyalhanna and Mrs. Veronica Sarnese, of
Latrobe. Twenty-four grandchildren also survive. He was employed at the plant of the
Anchor Drawn Steel Co. Friends will be received at his late home until Thursday at 9
am, when funeral services will be held at St. John's church. Interment will follow
in St. Mary's cemetery. (Obit: 1/21/1947)
