Jacob "Jake" Sherer, 69, of Latrobe RD 4 (Bethel Church Road) died Thursday at
his home. He was born in Marguerite April 16, 1910, son of the late Jacob and
Mary Piper Sherer. He was retired from American Cyanamid Co. of Latrobe.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Keim of Youngstown and Mrs. Mae Harr
and Mrs. Goldie Gravatt, both of Latrobe. Family will receive friends in Richard
W. Dell Home for Funerals, Latrobe, from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 3 to 5 and 7 to
9 p.m. Saturday. Funeral services will be held in the chapel at 1:45 p.m. Sunday
with the Rev. George E. Richmond, pastor of Calvary Temple Assembly of God
Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery, Cook Township.
