  Russel Sheriff, twelve years old, the son of John Sheriff, of 
Latrobe, was fatally injured on Tuesday. He was skating along a street 
and when he started to cross, he fell just as a car passed.  His right 
leg was ground off above the knee and he was otherwise injured about 
the head and body.  He was moved to the Westmoreland hospital where it 
was stated that he could not possibly live.
