Latrobe Bulletin Fri, Aug 12, 1904 Funeral On Sunday. The funeral services of the late Jacob Shirey, whose death at his home near Baggaley was mentioned in yesterday's BULLETIN, will be held at Youngstown at ten o'clock, Sunday morning. The interment will be made in the cemetery at Youngstown. The deceased was upwards of eighty-two years of age and is survived by a large family of children, all of whom are grown up. He was one of the best known farmers in the township. The Ligonier Echo Wed, Aug 17, 1904 Jacob Shirey, an aged and respected resident of Unity township, died suddenly last Thursday morning at his home near Baggaley from heart failure. He was 82 years old and is survived by his wife and several children. He was a grand uncle of Prof. E. R. Shirey formerly principal of Ligonier schools, now of Greensburg, a law student in the office of Attorney Dick Coulter.
