John Richard Siko, 56, of 127 Shepherd's Court, Holiday Acres, Latrobe, died in
Latrobe Area Hospital Wednesday evening. He was born in Snydertown July 7, 1920,
a son of Paul and Anna (Maruschak) Siko of Snydertown. A veteran of World War
II, serving with the U. S. Navy, he was employed by Teledyne Vasco Inc. and a
member' of Holy Family Church. His wife, Catherine (Franko) Siko, preceded him
in death in March, 1969. In addition to his parents, he is survived by three
sons, John R. Jr. of Pittsburgh, James W. of Latrobe and Jerry P. of Greensburg;
two grandchildren; two sisters and one brother: Alberta Siko of Snydertown, Mrs.
Rod (Agnes) Fuller of Chicago and Paul (Babe) of Snydertown. The family will
receive friends in Richard W. Dell Home for Funerals, Latrobe, from 7 to 9 p.m.
Thursday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Mass of Christian Burial will be
held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Holy Family Church. Interment will follow in St.
Mary Cemetery.
