Latrobe Bulletin Thu, Dec 29, 1932
John Sloan, a former resident of this locality died at his home in Tulsa,
Oklahoma, at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning, of a complication of diseases. He was
aged 65 years and nine months. Mr. Sloan was born and raised on the Sloan farm
in Unity township, north of town and had many friends and relatives in Latrobe.
He is survived by his wife and one sister, Dr. Nannie Sloan Glenn, of State
College, who has been visiting her brother in Oklahoma for several weeks. One
brother, David. of Ashland, Ohio, also survives. Funeral services were to be
conducted today.
