Smalley, aged 66 years, of Laughlintown, was fatally injured last night by a trolley car, at the intersection of West Liberty and Cape May Avenues, Pittsburgh. The body was taken to the Gaskin Funeral Home, in Ligonier, today. Mr. Smalley was the district manager of a manufacturing company and while be worked in Pittsburgh, he spent the weekends at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Raymond Crawford, of Laughlintown. Mrs. Smalley, his wife, makes her home with the Crawfords. Abraham Snyder, aged 66 years, operator of the trolley, told police that Mr. Smalley walked into the side of the car. The victim died enroute to a hospital. Mr. Smalley is survived by his widow and two daughters, Mrs. Crawford and Mrs. Jean Davis, of Minneapolls, Minn.
