Laughlintown Woman Dies In McGinnis Hospital 
Mrs. Ruth Armor Smalley, widow of the late Harry C. Smalley, died at 11:07 p.m.
Tuesday at the McGinnis Hospital. The mother of Mrs. Virginia Swank secretary of
the Ligonier Valley Chamber of Commerce, Mrs. Smalley had made her home with her
daughter in Laughlintown for the past ten years. She lived formerly in Edgewood.
Mrs. Smalley was the daughter of the late Herbert F. Armor and Mary Agnes
Gardner Armor. She was a niece of the late Charles L. Armor, of Laughlintown.
Surviving are two daughters: Mrs. Virginia Swank, of Laughlintown, and Mrs.
Baird Davis, of Evenston, Ill. Five grandchildren and one sister Mrs. Lewis
Collner, of St. Petersburg, Pa., also survive. Private funeral services will be
held at 11 a.m. today. Interment will be in the Ligonier Valley Cemetery.
