Latrobe Advance Wed, Oct 24, 1888
Died at his late residence in Latrobe, on Sunday, October 21st, 1888, of typhoid
fever, G. D. Smeltzer, aged 24 years...Mr. Smeltzer was a married man and leaves
a wife to mourn his death. About a week or ten days ago they buried their only
child...His remains were interred in the East Latrobe Cemetery.
