Mrs. Viola J. Smetak of 26 Hillview Ave., Latrobe, died Saturday, Oct. 11, 1986,
in Latrobe Area Hospital. Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Knupp, she was
an employee of Toyad Corp., of Latrobe. Surviving are her husband, Earl P.
Smetak; one daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Dolores) Forsha of Ligonier RD 2; three
grand-children; four great-grandchildren, and one brother, Mac Knupp of
Louisiana. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in John
J. Lopatich Funeral Home, 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. Funeral service will be held
at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Lawson Heights, Unity
Township, with the Rev. William E. Ordelt Jr. officiating. Interment will follow
in Unity Cemetery, Unity Township.
