Adele L. Smith,
(Retired Psychiatrist Nurse)

Adele L. Smith, 63, of Greensburg, died Friday June 27, 1997, at the 
Westmoreland Regional Health Center, Greensburg.  Mrs. Smith was born 
in Port Matilda, the daughter Of Robert D. and Vivian E. Williams 
McCutcheon.  She was married to Alex J. Smith, Jr., who preceded her in 
death in January 1993.  Surviving are two  sons, Donald J. and Alex D. 
Smith, both of Greensburg; one granddaughter, Grace L. Smith of 
Greensburg, a sister, Mrs. Donna Henry Of Port Matilda; and a brother, 
Robert D. McCutcheon of Tyrone, RD 4.  Mrs. Smith had been employed as 
a psychiatric nurse at the Westmoreland Regional Health Center in the 
Mental Health Unit, retiring in 1993 after 20 years service.  Funeral 
services for Mrs. Smith will be held Monday, June 30, 1997, at noon at 
the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home.  Interment will be at the 
Presbyterian cemetery, Port Matilda.  Friends may call at the funeral 
home on Monday from 10 a.m. to noon.  Contributions in Mrs. Smith 
memory may be made to the Westmoreland Regional Health Center, 532 West 
Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg Pa., 15601
