Mrs. Alma Cole Smith, 92, a resident of the Greensburg Nursing and Convalescent
Center of Hempfield Township, formerly of Latrobe, died Monday, July 13, 1992,
at the center. She was born Dec. 2, 1899, In Latrobe, a daughter of the late W.
Curry and Harriet Cole. Prior to her retirement she was employed by the former
Vanadium Alloy Steel Co. of Latrobe, and was a member of the Christ United
Church of Christ of Latrobe. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by
her husband, Theron C. and one brother, W. Frederick Cole. She was the last
surviving member of her family. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. Tuesday in Hartman-Graziano Funeral Home, 1500 Ligonier St., Latrobe where
service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Jeffrey A. Welsh
officiating. Interment will be In Unity Cemetery, Unity Township.
