Latrobe Bulletin Tue, Sep 03, 1968
William C. Snoddy, 79, 505 W. Fourth Ave., Derry, died in Latrobe Hospital at
10:15 p.m. yesterday. Born in Ligonier Valley, June 4, 1889, son of the late
John and Clara Luther Snoddy. Retired Pennsylvania Railroad locomotive engineer.
Member Derry United Methodist Church, Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and
Engineers. Surviving children Mrs. Susan Kattan, Mrs. Ellen Fay Himler, both of
Latrobe; William R., Xenia, Ohio; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild;
brother, George Snoddy, Derry; sister, Mrs. Anna Spainhour, Charleston, W. Va.
Friends received at the Fisher Funeral Home until time of services which will be
held there at 3 p.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Victor L. Redfoot in charge. Interment
in Coles Cemetery.
