Robert W. Snodgrass, 80, of Ligonier died Thursday evening, Dec. 30, 2004, in
the Bethlen Home, Ligonier Township. He was born Dec. 8, 1924, in Latrobe, a son
of the late Roy and Stella (Luther) Snodgrass. Prior to retirement in 1989, he
had been employed by the Rolling Rock Club. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of World
War II. He is survived by his daughter, Cathy Cobrando (and her husband,
Dennis), of Ligonier; a grandson, Ray F. Neiderhiser Jr., of Virginia Beach,
Va.; a sister, Jean Derk of Latrobe, and a brother, Harry "Pete" Snodgrass of
Ligonier. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife,
Dorothy Hoffer Snodgrass, in 1985. Friends were received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Sunday in J. Paul McCracken Funeral Chapel Inc., 144 E. Main St., Ligonier,
where a funeral service was held 11 a.m. Monday with Pastor J. Paul McCracken
officiating. Interment was in Ligonier Valley Cemetery. Bob's arrangements have
been entrusted to the care of J. Paul and Cindie McCracken.
