Latrobe Bulletin Sat, Oct 28, 1972 
James E. Stairs, 53, of Mt. Pleasant RD 4, died Friday afternoon in Frick
Community Hospital, Mt. Pleasant. Born March 13, 1919, in Whitney, he was a
member of the Wide World Church of God, Uniontown, and an employe of Adam
Eidemiller, Inc., Greensburg. He is survived by his widow, Emma Jean Wilkins
Stairs; three children, Mrs. Ronald (Jane) Stahl of Acme RD 1, Mrs. Richard
(Barbara) Wallace of Greensburg RD 2 and David E. of Erie. He is also survived
by five grandchildren and two brothers, Charles K. of Acme RD 1, and Harry
Fausold of Mesa, Ariz. Friends will be received at the James P. Gaut Funeral
Home, Pleasant Unity, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m., after 7 p.m. Saturday.
Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m in the funeral home, with Ronald McNeil in
charge. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, near Kecksburg.
