Mrs. Mary Madeline Stanko, 67, of 30 Garfield Road, Latrobe, died at her home on
Thursday. Born in Alverton, Pa., Jan. 8, 1906, she was a daughter of the late
Frank and Mary Kanapky Zuzack. She was a member of St. John Church and its
Rosary Society. Surviving are her husband, Steve P.; five children, Stephen Paul
Jr., Franklin A. and Mrs. Frank (Martha) Pernelli, all of Latrobe, Walter T. of
Deming, N. M., and Timothy P. of Pittsburgh; 14 grandchildren; brothers and
sisters, Andrew, Joseph, Paul, Mrs. Catherine Shurie, Mrs. Anna Kosker, Mrs.
Donald (Agatha) Pottinger, Mrs. James (Louise) Flowers, Mrs. Steve (Madeline)
Bair, all of Latrobe, and Mrs. John (Helen) Stolek of Pittsburgh. Family will
receive friends at the Richard W. Dell Home for Funerals, Latrobe, from 3 to 5
and 7 to 9 p.m. beginning at 7 p.m. Friday. Mass of the Resurrection will be
held in St. John Church at 10 a.m. Monday. Interment will follow in St. Vincent
Cemetery.
