Mrs. Nettie George Steele, 72, Latrobe, died at 10.30 a.m. yesterday. Born Sept.
14, 1879, She was a daughter of the late Daniel C. and Harriett Newcomer George.
She was a member of the Latrobe Presbyterian Church. Her husband, Paul H., Sr.,
preceded her in death in 1955. Surviving are the following children: Dr. Robert
H. Steele, John G., Paul H., Fred F., Miss Nancy Steele, all of Latrobe; two
sisters: Mrs. John Myers and Mrs. Laura Miller, both of Wooster, O. Friends will
be received at the M. S. Hartman Funeral Home, Latrobe, from 10 a.m. until 10 p.
m. daily. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral
services will be conducted at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Unity Chapel, the Rev. Robert
R. Vogelsang officiating. Interment will follow in Unity Cemetery.
