Stouffer, 41, Latrobe R.D. 5, died 8 a.m. today in Latrobe Hospital. Born in Corral, Pa., April 5, 1926, son of Mrs. Esther Weaver Stouffer and the late Earl Stouffer. Member Trinity Lutheran Church, Latrobe, veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Army. Employed by Westinghouse Corp., Derry. Survived by widow Mrs. Ruth Weis Stouffer; brothers, Floyd, Latrobe R.D. 5; Donald, Derry; sisters, Mrs. William (Ruth) Ruffner, Mrs. Kenneth (Irene) Dell, Mrs. Sylvester (Marjorie) Stile, Mrs. William (Dorothy) Petro, Mrs. W. (Thelma) Anderson. Family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the M. S. Hartman Funeral Home. Services will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 2 p.m. Saturday with Rev. John L. Reiner officiating. Interment will follow in Unity Cemetery. Funeral services for Everett L. Stouffer were held Saturday at the M. S. Hartman Funeral Home with Rev. John L. Reiner officiating. Interment followed in Unity Cemetery. The deceased was a veteran of World War II serving overseas with the U. S. Army. Serving as pallbearers were the following nephews: William Ruffner, Wayne Ruffner, William Petro, Gary Anderson, Ronald Stile and Byron Dell. Following the religious committal service at the graveside, the American Legion military ritual was read by John C. O'Rourke, past commander and S. Raymond Larimer, chaplain of Thomas B. Anderson Post 515, American Legion. Composing the color guard were the following members of the military funeral detail of Post 515, American Legion, with Brigadier-General James Gallagher in command: Edward Gordon, Harry Shirey, Joseph Churbock, Leonard Mihlfried, Joseph Hoffman, John Janik and Ernest Visconti. The flag was folded by Thomas Baldridge and Jacob Bernat of Post 515, American Legion and presented to Mrs. Stouffer by the chaplain, S. R. Larimer. Taps were sounded by Orlando DeFelice of Post 515, American Legion.
