Latrobe Bulletin, Adams Memorial Library Microfilm 5/21/1923 
On the Pat Johnson farm, near Derry, yesterday at 8:00 am, John A Stump died of a
heart affection. He had been employed as a farmer for Mr Johnson. He was aged 62
years and is survived by one daughter, Mrs B.F. Neil, of Derry, and the following
stepchildren: James and Thomas Stickle, of Latrobe, and Joseph Stickle, of
Pittsburgh. One brother, Anthony A Stump, of Derry, survives; one sister, Mrs Emma
Larkin, of Blairsville, and two half sisters, Mrs Hulda Murphy, of Whitney, and Mrs
Elizabeth Price, of Kingston, also survive. He was a member of the Order of Owls,
and the U. B. church. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 from the home
of B.F. Neil. Rev W.A. Sites, of Latrobe, will be in charge. Interment will be in
Cole's Cemetery. (Obit: 5/21/23)
