Mrs. Julia Spisak Taksar, 88, of Latrobe R. D. 3 (Trauger) died in the home of
her son, Paul Spisak of Trauger, Sunday. Born Aug. 22, 1876, in Hungary. Member
of Forty Martyrs Roman Catholic Church; its Rosary Society. Resident of Trauger
the past 69 years. Survived by children, John Spisak of Pittsburgh; Mrs. Andrew
(Julia) Kostyo of United; Steve and Michael Spisak of Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs.
Lewis (Margaret) Kowatch and Mrs. Andrew (Anna) Kowatch, both of United; Paul
Spisak of Trauger; 34 grandchildren; 67 great-grandchildren. Friends received 2
to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m., J. A. Hoffer-Funeral Home, Norvelt. Requiem high mass 9
a.m. Wednesday in Forty Martyrs Roman Catholic Church, the Rev. Pirmin Meier,
O.S.B. Interment church cemetery.
