Thomas Taylor, 68, Pleasant Unity (Jamison 201) died in the Latrobe Hospital at
5 p.m. yesterday. He was born in Houtzdale, April 1, 1890. He was a member of
the Pleasant Unity Methodist Church and the UMWA Local 5758. Surviving are his
widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Breth Taylor; the following children: Herald J. Taylor,
Warren, O.; Clair, Pleasant Unity; Thomas E., Garrettsville, O.; Albert I., at
home; Mrs. Charles (Flora Mae) Perry., Pleasant Unity; James H., Latrobe RD 4:
22 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother and two sisters, Samuel
Taylor, Josephine, Pa.; Mrs. Belle Gallagher, Port Jervis, N.Y.; Mrs. Beatrice
Phoenacie, Johnstown. Friends will be received at his late home until time of
services, which will he conducted at 2:20 p m. Sunday in the Pleasant Unity
Methodist Church with the Rev. Alvin K. Smith officiating. Interment will he in
the Pleasant Unity Methodist Cemetery.
