Word has been received that Nancy Kerr Teed, 75, of Westminster, Calif.,
(formerly of New Alexandria) died Sept. 6, 1985. Born March 8, 1910, in
Ligonier, she was a daughter of the late Thomas J. and Nancy L. Riggs Kerr. She
was a children's librarian in Somerset and Ohio for many years. In addition to
her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas J. Kerr Jr. She is
survived by one son, Thomas D. Teed of Westminster; one sister, Margaret Kerr
Ambrose of Pittsburgh; one brother, Robert Riggs Kerr of Hoboken, N. J.; three
grandchildren; one niece, and one nephew. A memorial service will be held at
11:30 a.m. Sept. 28 in Community Presbyterian Church, New Alexandria. Memorials
may be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of one's choice.
