Harry A. Teese, 75, of Ligonier RD 4 died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2000, in the Bethlen
Home, Ligonier Township. He was born Dec. 11, 1924, in Pittsburgh, a son of the
late Harry A. and Nothbergar (Scheible) Teese. He was a member of Holy Trinity
Catholic Church, Ligonier. Prior to his retirement, he was a truck driver for
Standard Motor Freight in Pittsburgh. Harry was a loving husband, father,
grandfather and great-grandfather. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death
by his wife, Ellen Finley Teese, Jan. 30, 2000; his brother, George; two
sisters, Rose Marie Teese and Wilma Proden, and a grandson. He Is survived by
two daughters, Yvonne Stouffer (and her husband, Ron) and Pat Knupp (and her
husband, Ron), all of Rector; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and
several nieces and nephews. Family received friends 6 to 9 p.m. Monday in Snyder
Funeral Home Inc. and Crematory, Bell and East Church streets, Ligonier.
Blessing service was held 9 a.m. Tuesday in chapel of the funeral home with the
Rev. Joseph P. Maddalena as celebrant. Interment was In Snowball Cemetery, Cook
Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association,
615 S. Main St., Greensburg, PA 15601. Elizabeth Snyder Bloom, funeral director.
