John Thomas, 57, of North Las Vegas, Nev. (formerly of Baggaley), died Thursday,
Aug. 18, 1983, in Sunrise Hospital, Las Vegas. Born in Latrobe June 23, 1926, he
was a son of the late Thomas and Agnes Thomas. He is survived by his wife,
Elizabeth West Thomas; two sons and four daughters, John Thomas III and David,
both at home, Mrs. Thomas (Kathleen) Barker of Pomco City, Okla., Mrs. Jerry
(Carol) Turk of Hayward, Calif., Mrs. David (June) Repko of Latrobe RD 4 and
Darlene "Gin" Thomas of New Florence; two brothers and three sisters, George of
Irwin, Edward of Las Vegas, Mrs. Joseph (Ann) Kutchravy of Titusville, Mrs.
Elizabeth Weiss of Las Vegas, and Mrs. Barbara Lentz of Latrobe RD 4, and five
grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Sunday and Monday in John J. Lopatich Funeral Home, Latrobe. Mass of Christian
Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Sacred Heart Church, Youngstown.
Interment will follow.
