Patricia M. Tustin, 57, of Latrobe, died Monday, May 23, 2005, at her residence. She
was born April 5, 1948, in Latrobe, daughter of the late Stanley L. and Marie C.
(Palasky) Guzik. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, where she also
served as an usher. She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Van C. Vachal;
and a nephew, Van C. Vachal Jr. She is survived by her husband, Orville J. Tustin; a
son, Douglas J. Tustin, of Latrobe; a daughter, Jackie D. Tustin, at home; two
brothers, Eric "Butch" Guzik and wife, Carol, and Stanley M. "J.R." Guzik, all of
Latrobe; a sister, Cheryl "Cookie" Vachal, of Latrobe; several nieces and nephews;
and her faithful companion, "Sage."Family and friends will be received from 3 to 5
and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 601 Weldon St.,
Latrobe. The Rev. Gary Tustin will hold a brief service at 9:15 a.m. Thursday in the
funeral home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. John the
Evangelist Church, Latrobe, with the Rev. Thomas Lukac as celebrant. Interment will
be in Unity Cemetery, Latrobe.
