Latrobe Bulletin Sat, Aug 27, 1960
Mrs. Cora Tyson, 71, of 123 West 1st Ave., Derry, died Tuesday, August 23, 1960,
in Albany,  California. Born in Coketown, Pa., April 17, 1889, she was a
daughter of the late David and Mary Chestnut Garris, and the widow of the late
Lewis Tyson. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Nora) Riley, Derry,
and Mrs. Elmer (Louise) Hudson, Albany, Calif. Also surviving are seven
grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The body is expected to arrive in
Derry on Sunday. Friends will be received at the home of Mrs. Thomas Riley, 265
West Owens Avenue, Derry, after 5 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30
p.m. Monday by the Rev. John Cogley. Interment will be in Coles Cemetery.
