Mrs. Iva A. Ulery, 94, of Stahlstown RD 1 died Monday, May 30, 1994, in
Westmoreland Manor, Hempfield Township. She was born July 20, 1899, in Acme, a
daughter of the late William and Eliza (Myers) Marks. In addition to her
parents, she was predeceased by her husband, William C. Ulery, in 1958; two
daughters, Eliza Queer and Margaret Ulery; a son, Ernest C. Ulery; a
granddaughter, Sandra Short; nine sisters, and a brother. Surviving are two
sons, Ira of Stahlstown and Raymond "Mose" of Acme; two daughters, Mary McGee of
Greensburg and Irma Pennington of Dicksonville; 15 grandchildren, and 36 great-
grandchildren. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Snyder-
Brown Funeral Home, Donegal, where the service will be held at 1:30 p.m.
Thursday with the Rev. Dr. Hughie G. Orsborn officiating. Interment will follow
in Donegal Cemetery. Jamie Snyder Brown is funeral director.
