Latrobe Bulletin Sat, Oct 29, 1955
Andrew J. Verchuck, 38, of Crabtree, died in the University of Pennsylvania
Hospital, Philadelphia. at 1:43 a.m. today. Born in Export, he was the son of
Paul A. and Justine Milan Verchuck. Most of his lifetime had been spent in the
Crabtree area. He was presently employed as a coal miner for the Delmont Fuel
Co., Hunker, for the past nine years. He was a member of St Bartholomew Catholic
Church. Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Irene Chabino
Verchuck and the fallowing brothers and sisters: Frank P.. Walter, Henry, all of
Crabtree; Paul R., serving with the U. S. Air Force, Harlingen, Texas; Mrs.
Benedict (Helen) DeMaria, Crabtree; Mrs. Sabey (Marianne) Sorice. Ft. Knox, Ky.;
Sister M. Andrea, whose motherhouse is in Bristow, Va. Funeral arrangements are
being made and will be announced later.
