Mary F. Vogle, 93, of Latrobe, passed away Sunday, Oct. 30, 2016, at her home. She
was born Sept. 1, 1923, in Marguerite, a daughter of the late Alex and Rose
(Cirucci) Veto. Mary started working as a clerk for Weiss Furniture Store in
Latrobe, then for the former Record Shop on Main St. in Latrobe. She was later hired
as manager for the former National Record Mart at the former Greengate Mall and,
prior to her retirement in 1986, she was employed by the Latrobe Steel Co. She was a
member of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in Latrobe, and had formerly volunteered
at Christ the Divine Teacher School. She loved to cook, especially baking pies and
cookies, for which she was well known. She made many delicious desserts for the
former Baldonieri's Restaurant in Latrobe. In addition to her parents, she was
preceded in death by her husband, Charles B. Vogle Sr., in 1980; two brothers, Mike
and Ben Veto; and two sisters, Florence and Rita Baldonieri. She is survived by two
sons, Charles B. Vogle Jr. and his wife Karen of Latrobe, and Karl H. Vogle and his
wife, Dolan, of Latrobe; five grandchildren, Marc Vogle and his wife, Gretchen, of
Harrisburg, Daniel, David, and Matthew Vogle, all of Latrobe, and Laura Vogle of
Pittsburgh; a brother-in-law, Bennett Baldonieri; a sister-in-law, Betty Veto; and a
number of nieces and nephews. 
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the HARTMAN-GRAZIANO
FUNERAL HOME INC., 1500 Ligonier St., Latrobe. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at
9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Holy Family Church, with the Very Rev. Daniel C. Mahoney, VF,
as celebrant. Everyone please go directly to the church. Interment will follow in
St. Mary's Cemetery.
