Mrs. Lavina Waldron, 80, Old Millwood Shaft, Derry Twp., died at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. Michael (Louella) Franchock, Peach Hollow, today, following an
illness of four years duration. Born in Millwood, May 25, 1875, she was the daughter
of the late Jonas and Margaret Squibbs Miller. Surviving are the following children:
Anthony Waldron, Seger; John Waldron, Derry; Mrs. August (Anne) Stefanick,
Everettsville, W. Va.; Mrs. Margaret Peretoo, Derry Twp.; Mrs. Franchock, Peach
Hollow; 39 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; a brother Joshua Miller, Millwood;
two sisters, Mrs. Mary Murray and Mrs. Margaret King, both of Derry. Friends are
being received at the Fisher Funeral Home, Derry, until Friday, when services will
be conducted by the Rev. John C. Cox, pastor of the Derry Methodist Church.
Interment will be made in Hillside Cemetery.
