Latrobe Bulletin (Latrobe, Pennsylvania)
Philip Karelovich Washnock, 97, Hostetter, died this morning 
(8-18-1970) in Latrobe Hospital. Born May 12, 1873, in 
Austria. Member of the Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary 
Ukranian Catholic Church, Latrobe. Had been employed by the 
H. C. Frick Co. Surviving children: Mrs. Ella Pundai, 
Hostetter; Mrs. Edward (Elizabeth) Beam, Latrobe RD 1; Mrs. 
Katherine Gordon, Washington D.C.;  Mrs. Russell (Margaret) 
Black, West Chester; Joseph T. Washnock, Uniontown; 18 
grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren. Friends received at 
the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ella Pundai, Hostetter, after 
7 pm today. Parastas services at the home on 7 pm Thursday. 
Requiem mass 9 am Friday in the Assumption church, the Rev. 
Walter Kachmar as celebrant. Interment in St. Vincent 
Cemetery.
