Latrobe Bulletin Tue, Apr 03, 1984
Mrs. Catherine Elizabeth Wegscheider, 80, formerly of Thompson St., Latrobe,
died Sunday, April 1, 1984, in St. Anne Home, Greensburg. She was born Oct 3,
1903, in United, Unity Township, daughter of the late Michael and Mary Stas
Gavora. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,
Herman J. Wegscheider, July 9, 1967. She was a member of Holy Family Roman
Catholic Church, Latrobe. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Andrew (Adelaide)
Semanchek of Latrobe; two granddaughters, and one sister, Mrs. Anna Halula of
Route 30 East, Latrobe. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 3
to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Richard W. Dell Home For Funerals, 1543 Ligonier
St., Latrobe. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday
in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow in St. Mary
Cemetery, Latrobe.
