Ligonier Echo 04 Mar 1931
Mrs. Christina Marks Weimer died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. S T. Johns in
Ligonier township, Sunday at 1:30 P. M. after a short illness. She was aged 86
years, 11 months. She was a resident of this valley nearly all her life. She was a
member of the Evangelical Church for many years. She is survived by five daughters:
Mrs. Herman Knupp of Ligonier township, Mrs. S. T. Johns of Ligonier Township, with
whom she made her home, Mrs. Joseph Fry of Oak Grove, Mrs. Walter McGuire of
Latrobe, Mrs. Missoura Rhodes of Fairfield Township. She is also survived by
twenty-four grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren. Funeral services were
held this (Wednesday) afternoon at 2 P. M. at Lebanon Church, in charge of her
pastor. Rev. J. D. Hammer. "A precious one from us has gone, A voice we loved is
stilled. A place is vacant in our home, Which never can be filled."
