Death Separates Newly Married Pair 
A marriage of less than three months was ended yesterday by the sudden death of
Kenneth Werner, aged 24, former Greensburg man who in January was married to
Lois Carns, of Latrobe. Local friends received word today of Mr. Werner's death,
caused by a heart attack while be was driving truck for the Helmar-Pittsburgh-
New York Express Company. According to report, Mr. Werner was engaged in fixing
a flat tire on his truck when he suffered the heart attack. His body was taken
to Chambersburg where it remained until last evening when it was brought to
Greensburg to the home of the parents. Mr. Werner was stricken along the
superhighway, near Chambersburg, it was reported. Mrs. Werner, of Latrobe R. D.,
was graduated from Latrobe High School and is well-known locally. Following
their marriage, the couple moved to Harrisburg where they have since resided. In
addition to the widow, Mr. Werner's parents. and one brother, Germaine, also
survive. Funeral arrangements have not been announced.
