All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Donald Buncie http://www.genrecords.net/emailregistry/vols/00034.html#0008389 May 23, 2026, 8:45 am Latrobe Bulletin Mon, Dec 23, 1918 Resident Of Near Baggaley Takes His Own Life After having urged his wife and little child to go to the wife's home, near Pleasant Unity, to make a little visit, Earl Wilkins, a contracting carpenter, of near Correll's store, Baggaley, took a razor and a butcher knife to his bed room, yesterday morning, stood before a looking glass and with the razor cut his throat from ear to ear. He severed the carotid artery, and also cut through the larynx. He was found, some time later, by his father-in-law, and Dr. Mullen was summoned, at once. The man was removed to the hospital where he died this morning. Mr. Wilkins fell from a building at Baggaley last summer, and injured his head. He had not been feeling well since that time. He was 31 years of age, and leaves to survive his widow and a little daughter.
