H. Williams died on Sunday morning about 4 o'clock at the age of 60 years, at his residence in the First ward. Mr. Williams was one of the old and respected citizens of Latrobe and an upright and honest man. He was a member of the town Council for two years, and up until his last illness, Which began last fall, he was a faithful, conscientious and hard working member of that board. He was for a number of years employed in the car works by S. H. & R. Baker, but for several years past has kept a five and ten cent store on Ligonier street. He has not been at his place of business for some months previous to his death.
