Latrobe Bulletin Tue, May 17, 1955
Mrs. Lyda King Wilson, 715 Fairmont St., died Sunday at the Latrobe Hospital.
The deceased, who was born in Port Kennedy in 1883, was the daughter of the late
John S. King and Martha McAdoo King. Her husband, Andrew Wilson, preceded her in
death in September 1950. Mrs. Wilson was a member of the Latrobe Presbyterian
Church and the American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 515. Surviving are one sister,
Mrs. Sarah Payne, Youngstown; a brother, Elmer E. King, South Mountain; several
nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily at
the Joseph R. Hunter Funeral Home until 11:45 a.m. Wednesday when she will be
moved to Unity Chapel and lie in state until 2 p.m. when Rev. William F. McClain
will conduct services. Interment will follow in Unity Cemetery.
