Ruth Lucille Wineland, 70, of Glendale, Ariz., (formerly of Derry) died
Thursday, Aug. 10, 1995, in Arizona. She was born Jan. 10, 1925, in Derry, a
daughter of the late Lawrence E. and Hattie E. Forsha. She was a retired nursing
assistant from Boswell Memorial Hospital in Sun City, Ariz. She was a former
member of the Derry Unit 324, American Legion Auxiliary, and the Derry Volunteer
Fire Department Ladies' Auxiliary. Surviving are three sons, William D. of
Phoenix, Ariz., Barry L of Parker and Robert G. of Philadelphia; six
grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held at 2
p.m. Monday, Aug. 21, 1995, in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, South
Chestnut Street and West Fourth Avenue, Derry, with the Rev. Dr. A. Michael
Boggs officiating. Memorials may be made to Community Hospice, 340 E. Palm Lane
150, Phoenix, AZ 85004.
