Ray (Peg) Wingard, 76, of 400 E. First Ave., Derry, died 3:45 p.m. Sunday in Latrobe
Hospital. Born Jan. 23, 1888, in Derry, Son of the late Theodore and Mary Marks
Wingard. Member St. Joseph's Parish. Retired yardmaster at Derry for PRR with 45
years service. Survived by widow, Mrs. Teresa Callaghan Wingard: children Mrs. Harry
(Marguerite) Mowry of Pitcairn; Mrs. James (Helen) Hedrman, Mrs. Samuel (Betty)
Bolino, Mrs. Steve (Jean) Axiotis, Theodore, all of Warren, Ohio; William of
Youngstown, Ohio; Mrs. Michael (Ruth) Urdzik of Latrobe; Edward of Monroeville;
Thomas of Bradenville; Mrs. Kenneth (Mabel) Murray; Mrs. Charles (Patricia) Jones,
Robert; foster daughter, Mrs. Richard (Marguerite) Ashley, all of Derry; 37
grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. Friends received 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Fisher
Funeral Home, Derry. Services at 9 a.m. Wednesday, St. Joseph's Catholic Church of
Derry. Interment St Joseph's Cemetery.
