Latrobe Bulletin Fri May 28, 1971
Mrs. Betty Hazlett Ballentine Wright, Wayne, Pa., died is Bryn Mawr Hospital,
Philadelphia at 3.30 p.m. Thursday. She was born in Latrobe, the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. William L. Hazlett, 721 Lehmer St. She was a graduate nurse from the
Latrobe Area Hospital in 1946. In addition to her parents surviving are her
husband, Pete S.; two daughters and two sons: Paula E. Ballentine, Carol
Ballentine, Timothy and Michael, all at home; two sisters, Mrs. Barbara Hartman.
Beverly, NJ; Mrs. Margaret McCowan, Puerto Rico, and a brother, William L.
Hazlett Jr., Rockville, Md. There will be no viewing. Memorial services will be
held in the Wayne Presbyterian Church at 10 a.m. Thursday. The family requests
that flowers be omitted. Memorial, contributions may be made to the Educational
Fund of the Wayne Presbyterian Church, Wayne, Pa.
