Latrobe Bulletin Mon Jun 13, 1977
John J. Yanits, 70, of Youngstown died Saturday in Latrobe Area Hospital. He was
born May 13, 1907, son of the late Paul and Mary (Andankiewcz) Yanits. He was
retired from Latrobe Die Casting Co. and a member of the Sacred Heart Church in
Youngstown. His wife preceded in death Sept. 25, 1970. Surviving are the
following sisters, Mrs. Paul (Pauline) Mitchell of Youngstown, Mrs. James
(Helen) Slaughter of Vacaville, Calif., Mrs. George (Mae) Hunter of Latrobe and
Mrs. Eugene (Rose) Fulvio of Derry. Family will receive friends in Richard W.
Dell Home for Funerals, Latrobe, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Sacred Heart Church,
Youngstown, with the Rev. Aelred Beck, O.S.B., officiating. Interment will
follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
