Mrs. Minnie Sorice Yanity of Crabtree died early Wednesday morning in
Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born in Crabtree, a daughter of the
late Sabato and Mary Autilia Pantalone Sorice. She was a member of St.
Bartholomew Catholic Church, Crabtree, and its Rosary Altar Society. She was
preceded in death by one sister, Mrs. Rose Sorice Pantalone. Surviving are her
husband, Harry Yanity Sr.; four children, Harry P. Jr. and Mrs. Glorianne
Guidas, both of Greensburg, Gene of Crabtree and Gerald J. of Greensburg; seven
grand-children; the following brothers and sisters, Anthony L. Sorice of
Crabtree, Delphio Sorice of Crabtree, Mrs. Al (Ann) Licelli of Belleville, N.
J., Mrs. Joseph (Agatha) Amdy of Mt. Pleasant and Mathew Sorice of Crabtree, and
a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in Clement L. Pantalone
Funeral Home, 409 West Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
daily, beginning at 3 p.m. Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated
at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, Crabtree, with the Rev.
Kieran Rodgers, OSB, as celebrant. Interment will follow at Calvary Hill
Cemetery.
