Ziegenfus, 62, of Greensburg died Monday in Latrobe Area Hospital. He was employed as a vacuum furnace operator at Kennametal Inc. of Latrobe, Chestnut Ridge plant. He was born June 28, 1915, in Latrobe, a son of the late August and Florence Dietz Ziegenfus. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, American Legion of Latrobe, Loyal Order of Moose 1151 of Greensburg and Knights of St. George. He was a veteran of World War II, U. S. Navy. He is survived by his widow, Annetta Daugherty Ziegenfus; one son, Jeffrey of Greensburg; one daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Diane) Twaddle of Greensburg; three brothers, Joseph of Latrobe, Theodore of Bradenville and Charles J. of St. Petersburg, Fla.; three sisters, Florence of Latrobe, Mrs. Mary Fenski of Denver Colo., and Mrs. Margaret Accorsi of Ligonier, and two granddaughters. Friends are being received in Leo M. Bacha Funeral Home, 516 Stanton St., Greensburg, from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg. Interment will follow.
