In Memory of
Mary, wife of James Smith, was born in Westmoreland Co., July 24, 1809, and 
died near Sabula, Pa. Jan. 23, 1902.  She was married when 20 years old and 43 
years ago.  They moved to Clearfield Co., where they afterwards lived.  Ten 
children were born.  The boys are all dead.  The girls are all living, among 
them, Mrs. Lemuel B. Lucore of Penfield.  The same ones dug her grave as did 
her husband's 17 years ago.  Mrs. Smith has had her burial robes ready for 
years as she said she was living on borrowed time.  For 35 years she has been 
a faithful member of the Methodist church and had the assurance of a clear 
title to a mansion in the skies.
