The Ligonier Echo Fri, Apr 16, 1965
Betty Ellen Baker, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Earl Baker of RD 1, Stahlstown, was
married Saturday to Delmar K. Piper, son of Mr. & Mrs. Irvin Piper of RD 4,
Latrobe. Rev. Ray A. Snair officiated at the ceremony in Trinity Methodist
Church. Mr. & Mrs. Dean Lenhart of Stahlstown attended the couple; Russell and
Bud Hutter of Pleasant Unity ushered, and Mrs. George Nedrow of Donegal was
organist. A reception was held in Donegal Grange hall... The bride is a senior
in Ligonier High School; her husband attended Ligonier High and is employed in
his father's sawmill. They are living on RD 1, Stahlstown.
