Goodman, of Latrobe, R. D. 4, for her marriage to Louis Lyle Carns, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lemmon Carns, of Ligonier R. D. 2. The Rev. W. Frederick Adolphson officiated at the marriage which was performed at 6 o’clock Wednesday evening of last week in the St. James Evangelical Lutheran church of Youngstown. Vases of white snap dragons adorned the church for the ceremony. During the service Miss Grace Mary Adolphson presided at the organ, playing Processional and Recessional. Given in marriage by her father, the bride selected a gown of white satin and net and a fingertip veil of tulle which fell from a seed pearl rosebud crown. She carried a sheaf of calla lillies. Miss Celia Goodman, sister of the bride, served as her maid of honor, attired in pink satin and organza. She wore a bandeau bonnet of flowers and a matching shoulder length veil. Her flowers were pink roses secured with blue streamers. Harry Cams served as his brothers best man while Fred E. Goodman and Leroy Ayers were ushers. For the ceremony, the brides mother wore a black ensemble with white accessories while Mrs. Cams appeared in navy blue. Both women wore gardenia corsages. A wedding supper was served at the brides home following the ceremony with covers placed for 30 guests after which the young couple left on a wedding trip to an undisclosed destination. Upon their return they will make their home with the brides parents. Mrs. Carns was employed as a clerk at the G. C. Murphy Co. store and Mr. Cams is with the Anderson Lumber Company.
