Latrobe Bulletin Apr 02, 1934
St. Cecelia's church, Whitney, was the scene of a pretty wedding which took
piece at 8 o'clock, this morning, when Miss Barbara Thomas, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. John Thomas, of Baggaley, became the bride of Joseph Zabkar, Jr., of
Baggaley. before a nuptial high mass Rev. Xavier Traxler, O. S. B., pastor of
the church, was the officiant. Special music was provided by the regular church
choir. Miss Ann Thomas was her sister's maid of honor. Stephen Pipock, of
Baggaley, was best man. A wedding supper was held at the home of the bride for
the relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Zabkar will make their home in Baggaley.
