Wednesday, 6 September 1911 A quiet wedding took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Agnew, near Conneaut Lake on Friday, Sept. 1st, when Mr. Thomas W. Agnew of Monessen and Miss Beatrice Thompson were united in marriage. Mr. Agnew was engaged to Miss Thompson before he left his home in Ireland over a year ago. He met his bride to be upon her arrival in New York on August 27th, and they went directly to his brother's home. The groom's niece, Miss Ruth M. Agnew, was the bridesmaid and his brother, Mr. W. B. Agnew, the best man. The wedding march was played by Miss Louise M. Agnew. Rev. Lewis Davison, pastor of the Presbyterian church, of Conneaut Lake, performed the ceremony. After a short honeymoon the couple will go to housekeeping in Monessen.
